Learn how to build your own guitar

During this exclusive course in which we work, we are going to make an acoustic guitar, one on one. Here you will learn what steps there are in the building process for making your own handmade guitar. 

You go home at the end of the construction process with a beautiful hand-made guitar, build under the guidelines of Riemersma Guitars.

- You know what kinds woods is out there and what you should use.

- A roadmap and guidance in making a handmade guitar.

- Confidence to build a guitar at home.

The course is intended for the beginner guitar makers, but also for advanced builders.

Guitar making course Non-Stop:

To build your own guitar full time under supervision of Ramon Riemersma. What there is to it in making your own guitar?

We will be dealing with the following subjects:

- Moisture and temperature in the workshop.

- How do you recognize good tonewood.

- Different steps during the build.

- What components affect the sound of an instrument.

In these lessons you will be personally accompanied during the making of your guitar. Big advantage is that your alone and receiving private lessons.

Non-stop every day building your guitar until it is ready
(with the exception of Saturday and Sunday).

The cost for building your own guitar Non-Stop are € 2499,- without VAT and material cost. 

The materials/wood species you can choose yourself but only when the sound is not affected. The material may also be delivered by Riemersma Guitars at an advantageous rate. The price of the wood can vary but begins approximately at € 250,-to € 400,- for a complete guitar.

But it is not all about guitars, because the coffee and tea are always waiting for you! And during intermission we will provide a good lunch.
