This manual is written on the basis of my personal experiences with French polish and I would like to offer it to the customers of the Gitaarbouwwinkel for free.
The entire process of policing an instrument is discussed. In this way I will discuss the materials used and the way in which you prepare the instrument for French polish. We also discuss the different resins that we use to make the shellac 'better' or stronger so that the instrument is better protected against bumps or grabbing. In short: everything is covered from the beginning to the end.
